In order to avoid the Life Learning Project never
developing beyond a discussion topic and a web presence, we have
set a measurable target for the Project. Indeed, we called it a
"Project" rather than a "Programme" because we wanted to give it
a definite, time-bound goal.
The goal we have set ourselves is this:

By 2030,
there will be 100,000 people per year undertaking a
Life Learning Course. |
This goal determines,
to a great extent, how we plan to operate the Life Learning
Project: by setting up the Five Initiatives.
